Accounting Integration

Accounting

Most businesses have already selected an accounting package. These days modern accounting packages are able to import sales and purchase order data from the OMS. MNP will liase with your accounts department to ensure that the data requirement form the accounting package is met.

ORDERactive has been integrated with a number of accounts packages.  The normal method for this is for MNP to create a routine to automatically export files to the accounting system containing the types of transactions that you have deemed necessary to pass; the accounts package can then import the information contained in these files.  These transactions can be as granular as the accounts package and your requirements dictate even to the point of including individual item transactions.  Usually it is only the financial information from the sales orders that is passed to the accounts package while the MNP software is used to control the stock.

Purchase Orders can be created in either system although we recommend that one system is used as the master and can be integrated in the same way providing that the accounts system has the facility to accept the information through their standard interfaces.

An example of this is the integration to Sage, using their standard import routines we can provide a line by line transaction based record for all financial sales transactions (including writing with the correct nominal codes) whilst the ORDERactive software controls the stock management which means that financial reports can be pulled straight from SAGE but day to day business reporting can be completely contained within ORDERactive.
